Do We Have a Deal Book Reviews
"An invaluable tool to dissect what goes on in the other side of the war of the wits known
as car buying. This character study of characters also shows how us consumers appear
to the car dealership. Although many buyers detest the process, I think I will miss
it when it changes now that I know what goes on when the salesman keeps leaving his
cubby-hole during the negotiations. Plus you get to find out what
commodious means"

Written by a 20-year veteran of auto sales, Do We Have a Deal? is a tale of
corruption and deceit at a car dealership. It focuses on the interactions
between the salesmen and their unfortunate customers, exposing a world in
which hard sells and stereotyping of customers (the “hick couple”, the
“desperate nerd”) are the norm. It’s an interesting and sobering take on
human nature and social interactions in a setting that will be all too
familiar to most readers.
